The media could not be loaded. The Meike 33mm f/1.4 lens is a hidden gem in the world of affordable photography gear, especially for Fujifilm X-mount users. This lens punches far above its weight when it comes to image quality, sharpness, and usability, making it an incredible choice for photographers who want outstanding performance without breaking the bank. One of the standout features of the Meike 33mm f/1.4 is its remarkable sharpness. From wide open at f/1.4 to stopped down, this lens consistently delivers crisp and detailed images with great edge-to-edge clarity. The sharpness is particularly impressive in the center, where it produces stunning detail even at the widest aperture, making it ideal for portraits, street photography, and everyday shooting. For those who love to shoot wide open, the lens also creates a lovely, smooth bokeh that beautifully separates the subject from the background. In terms of build quality, the Meike 33mm f/1.4 is impressively lightweight and compact, making it a perfect companion for travel and on-the-go photography. The compact size not only ensures it doesn’t add much bulk to your camera setup, but also balances well on any Fujifilm body, making it comfortable for extended shooting sessions. Despite being lightweight, the build feels solid and durable, with a metal lens mount that gives it a reassuring sturdiness.Image quality is where this lens really shines. The color rendition is natural, and the contrast is strong, providing images with great depth and vibrancy straight out of the camera. The f/1.4 aperture also makes it a fantastic low-light performer, allowing you to capture sharp images in dim conditions without having to raise the ISO too high. The autofocus on the Meike 33mm f/1.4 is surprisingly fast and reliable, especially for a budget-friendly lens. It locks on to subjects quickly and accurately, even in low-light situations, making it a versatile choice for both stills and video work. While it might not be as whisper-quiet as some high-end native lenses, it’s more than capable of keeping up with the demands of everyday shooting. At a fraction of the cost of a native Fujifilm X-mount lens, the Meike 33mm f/1.4 offers phenomenal value. It’s a fantastic option for photographers who want high-quality results without investing heavily in glass. For sharpness, portability, and image quality, this lens is an absolute winner.

I find this lens super useful for environmental portraits when I want/need to be relatively close to my subject. I use the Meike 55 f/1.4 lens extensively for portrait photography, and I've been very happy with that lens. I find the 33 to be similarly impressive, especially for the cost. Drawbacks are quite minor. I think that, for the money, there's really no better option for the Fujifilm x-mount system.Shooting in low light, I find the lens a bit slow to focus, but I love the way this lens combines with the Fuji system to create rich, film-like images, and the soft focus in challenging lighting can result in beautiful images, especially when tack-sharp details matter less than warmth.Shooting wide open, this lens can produce beautiful portraits with bokeh and pleasing compression.I'd happily shoot an entire day of street photography with this lens exclusively, and I'd be comfortable shooting a wedding or portrait session with just this lens and the Meke 55. Though I have the native Fuji 18-55 zoom lens, If I'm shooting primarily in the middle of that range, I'd prefer to use the Meke 33 prime. Thanks, Meike, for continuing to produce high quality, affordable glass for the Fujifilm x system!Photos are straight from the camera, shot in JPEG with basic Fuji film simulation.

I liked the creamy bokeh of the sirui lenses, but I need an aperture ring. I like the snappy focus of the sigmas, but I didn't want to pay sigma prices and I don't *love* the colors, and of course Fuji prices are out of my budget. MF out of the question bc I need it for portraits/weddings,etcI previously got Meike's 55mm 1.4 bc a ton of youtube reviews were hyping it and I was actually super surprised at how it held up to the hype. So despite kinda judging it as a brand before, I wanted to give the 33 in their same series a try bc I need a slightly closer focal length for portraits to feel a little more connected with my subject. And because I loved that the 55 hit all my checkboxes of creamy smooth bokeh, aperture ring, good Af, lightweight, and in my pro-matuer budget, I was hopeful the 33 would do the same. After testing, I def feel like this 33 is as good as their 55 and looking forward to all the youtube reviewers jumping on this one tooThe autofocus is quite snappy on my old xt20! Definitely snappier than my 2021 Fuji 35f2 - which is more portable, but sometimes I need that extra light. I was at a super crowded, not that well lit, amish market on a saturday and the hit rate was super high. I never felt frustrated that it was getting something *else* in focus than I intended (I am a 10+ year old fuji shooter so I know what to expect, but I do still get annoyed)I took some pics of the autumn forest in our backyard, and SOOC the colors are quite detailed given how many shades there are. Low light detail is on point for these green beans I took (I'll probably edit the RAW to bring out the colors and shadows more, but for demo purposes these r the jpgs)Literally for the price of one sigma lens, I've been able to complete my 23mm-33mm-55mm trio ahead of a wedding I need to shoot in January (230 for 33, around 200 for 55 compared to 450 for sigma lmao)These samples are SOOC xt20, no edits, standard film sim provia

Obiettivo 85mm

Ottimo obiettivo.
