Initially, I ordered this to be my new 4K webcam for work meetings. Then I tested it and have decided it will be better used for Astral photography on my 12" Dobsonian telescope!This camera has amazing low light sensitivity and spectacular image quality. The included lens with adjustable focal length, focus, and aperture provides the fine adjustments needed for spectacular images. The lens is also removable with a CS mount, which makes attaching a telescope adapter simple and easy.When plugged into my Windows 11 Laptop, the camera was detected immediately and the drivers installed without prompt. Upon launching the Win11 Camera app, I could immediately tell a huge difference from my old Logitech 1080p webcam. I made some adjustments to the lens and was blown away by the image quality! It does have a tripod mount on the bottom and the housing and most of the lens are both metal. ItThis is an amazing 4K USB camera and for the price ($130.99 w/ 10% off at the time of this review), it is worth every penny!

This is a well built camera but what can it be used for? Everything is manual, including focus. You can unlock (each setting has a screw lock) and adjust focus, zoom and aperture. The focus is touchy but sharp when you get it dialed in. The color is great but once everything is set and you want to view something else, you have to refocus all over again. This could be a great little camera if it were auto-focus. If you need a quality camera to view only one thing, all the time, it's useful. Otherwise, look for something else.

I expected to get the black metal housing mount that is SHOWN in the video and mine atleast came with just the camera looked like an open box or return perhaps. Camera seems ok so far for a golf simulator but not sure how to mount it yet so might be an exchange at the min! But quality made metal & nice video first chance but will update!

However, the manual nature of this camera makes it a bit troublesome for many situations and it's just generally inconvenient. It's hard to justify spending a bunch of money on something like this when there's many options out there that essentially give you the same options for cheaper or you might already have it in your pocket (your phone).

Yes, this camera is 100% fully manual. However, sometimes you really just want to set something in one spot, never worry about any of the settings, because you are the one that set them. I have this hooked up with a metal mount over my peripherals for streaming, and it's so clear it's kind of insane. I can't get 120fps in OBS for the camera, which is kind of annoying, but even the 60fps it offers is downright amazing.I do not regret this one at all, and thinking about a second one just to record my stupid face. I'm more worried about how good of a camera this is, that it will show off all of my flaws, if that tells you any thing.P.S. You WILL need proper lighting for this to really shine, but you can pick up ring lights and other options (hell, even your phone will provide enough for a video recording or two. I've seen people use these types of cameras for model display and you can absolutely get away with that.)If you want to record with more options, their barebones software can do that.Yes I'm rambly, but I wholeheartedly endorse this. There might be better options for your price point, I just love this regardless.
