Warm, soft and stays put

Bought this for my son for winter school runs and outdoor play. It is soft inside and does a good job blocking the wind without feeling bulky. He finds scarves annoying, so this is a much better option. It stays in place even when he is running around. Took one star off because it runs slightly tight, but overall very happy with it.

My daughter's 10 now, and it fits her perfectly. It's warm and soft on the inside; the outside is true to color, and the quality is perfect for when she goes to school during the winter. It gets cold here, but I don't believe this would work that well in extreme cold or for skiing. The material is medium thickness. She will be wearing it for cold school days, and it will work nicely.-Hand wash cold-Non chlorine bleach-Dry flat-Do not iron

Got this for my 11yr old daughter, and while she loves the color and material, it is a bit too snug for her to wear properly. I would size up a bit to be safe when ordering. Very nice material though, stretchy and warm but breathable, and she still wears it around the house bc she likes it so much.

This gaiter is marketed for kids but it also fits an average sized woman's head/neck comfortably with enough give to get it on/off and stay in place without slipping down off your lower face. The fabric itself is stretchy but it feels like two elastics are sewn into the top and bottom of the gaiter as well; once they break or the elasticity wears out the gaiter may not stay in place to cover your mouth and nose in winter temperatures. Durability and effectiveness remain to be seen; the real test will be when winter hits fully here as to whether or not it'll keep skin warm and protected from the elements and how long it will hold up to daily wear before it stops being stretchy. There are two layers of fabric, a fleecy type on the inside and smoother one on the outer shell although all of it is polyester (there's 10% spandex in the outer shell) according to the label. Washing instructions are to hand wash and lie flat to dry (we did that and lay it flat to dry on top of a dry bath towel because it takes several hours to dry completely), but I think it'd survive going into the washing machine on a cold water cycle setting (with similar colours) without any issues if you put it in a lingerie bag.The length allows for decent coverage of your lower face and neck depending on the size of your head etc and the fabric is comfy, not itchy. At the current price of 19.99 it's good value especially if you get more than one winter's use out of it. There are several colours to choose from and the same company makes these for adults as well in case you need them for larger headed kids or adults; at the time of this review, they were also 19.99.

This is a great gaiter. The fleece lining helps provide warmth, but the material is still breathable. It is comfortable and warm. We live in a very cold climate and gaiters are a nice way to keep the neck and face warm without the bulk of a scarf. This seems good quality- no loose threads or seam issues.

Nice snug fit to keep your neck and lower face warm on winter days. It is very soft and stretchy, and will protect the areas your hat and coat miss. Functions just as expected, and the white is a nice crisp white that will go with just about anything.
