Holy cow these cameras are amazing, great picture quality and easy set up!. I do have to warn you that the power source isn't wireless as well so you have to run electrical to the cameras or set up extension cords. Unexpected additional cost $100 extension cords for attic. $10 HDMI 1080 braided cable for box.

We have had this 3 years now. Really decent system. Easy to install. The cameras are wireless, but need to be plugged in. Had an electrician install outlets in the attic near where the cameras were going, which was fairly cheap. I did have an issue connecting to the remote app to view after the 2nd year, but I updated the recorder's firmware and works perfectly. Thanks to customer service representative Yoyo for helping solve that issue.Long as you remember to update your system, you will be happy. The piece of mind these days is nice.

The wireless cameras hardly ever stay connected to the NVR, even in clear line of sight, perfect weather, and within just feet of the NVR unit! The cameras aren't able to switch out of wireless mode to be connected via Ethernet; although an Ethernet connection is included on each camera and instructions for doing the switchover are too! Even going back and fourth with the manufacturer many many times through email couldn't get the cameras connected with wires. The manufacturer then as a last resort recommends I purchase antenna extenders and after even more time & money wasted they didn't improve the wireless signal either! The NVR also has a habit of just rebooting all on it's own for absolutely no reason! I do not recommend this system as it's complete garbage and I highly suggest you shop different brands!

I had to replace a different brand due to multiple failures. So far we love this system. The pictures are crystal clear. Range is pretty good and rarely do the cameras drop off. I don't think it's the cameras fault as much as interference from my neighbors junk on the 2.4Ghz frequency

Good product. Simple to install. One of the power adapters was bad out of the box. Need to find out how to get a replacement Sent out. I would certainly buy again and have suggested this unit to several friends.

I always appreciate reviews and they go a long ways in helping me make a decision. I'm hoping to save you the trouble that I had to go through. I've had several systems before and wanted to try out this company.ProsThe picture quality is very good for wireless, I was actually quite impressed. The dashboard is pretty up to date compared to other systems.ConsIf you need instant email alerts (text alerts) to your smartphone for events which could be a burglar, this system is not for you. Emails would take 2-3 mins for me to receive and their tech support told me that this is stand. By the way my old system which I've had for 10 years sends my alert in under 2 seconds. I immediately returned this item to amazon which was painless. I picked up a new system which I wont name because I don't think that's fair and the alerts come in just over a second. A truly amazing system which was an upgrade to 4K and was only $100 more.The other issue was a real problem for me. We are in California and tech support is in China which means you get get telephone or chat support until 7pm at night. While their support during those hours is pretty good, it's not convenient at all if you live in the US. You might wake up to an email question from support but don't forget you wont get to interact until later that night.*If this company can open US support during US business hours and update their software with immediate alerts than I would recommend them but not until then. Sorry Zosi

I would like to start by saying I rarely ever leave a review... but felt different about this item. I read many reviews and was very nervous purchasing a system like this online.... but decided to go for it. I have just purchased and set up the system. The factory will preset everything for you so it is ready to go when it arrives. I plugged the NVR into an open port on my router and started installing my cameras. I took extra time and purchased an additional switch and pugged that into the router as well. All my cameras go into this switch and then the router and finally to the NVR. That way I wasn't using any WiFi. You will need an outlet for each camera, but that is easy enough to run. Once the camera was connected the system worked great. I did have a few issues getting the system to work when I wasn't on my home network. I went to the Zosi website and got a text chat support. My tech support was Shirley and she was awesome. The hardest part was typing. She stayed on and helped me through it all. The problem was that I just wasn't waiting long enough for my phone to update. It wasn't Zosi's fault at all. The tech support help from Shirley was one of the best I have seen. I would highly recommend them.
