I bought for 8 year old son, we typically buy a size large 10-12 shirt with fit a little loose, but when I buy when a shirt I require he raises his arms with out his belly showing, we love the shirt, it’s cotton and it’s hard to find good cotton tie dye on Amazon but this has held up for 3 washes which to me proves good dye was use and it color should last. Photo dressed for 70s day at school after 1 wash, photo with shorts after 3 washes, we bought to use for a theme day at school but we were so excited to add a new tie dye shirt to the ward worbe as we both love tie dyed my mom raised me to appreciate the 70s as i plan to raise my son. My son says it’s comfortable, we bought a medium 10-12 shirt 1st because I wasn’t sure but it was too small, the large 14-16 fits I suggest choosing size off small medium and large sizing and not the numbers. Great price for the value, like I said it’s hard to find real tie dye on here anymore ppl want put a tye dye print on polyester that’s nice and all because my son does prefer the thinner shirts like that but To me it doesn’t seal the deal like this thick cotton shirt.

I love Colortone products, however this piece can in much darker and less vibrant than expected. With tie dye there are always variations, however this piece was very brown and not bright for a child. The shirt was soft and of high quality. I will buy from Colortone again.

Worked great. It’s real tie-dye so absolutely you need to hand wash it in hot soapy water before you wash it with other laundry.Sizing is accurate. I’d say runs a bit larger than Target boy shirts. My son is almost 4ft tall and weighs about 51lbs. The Medium was a tad long on him, but we upsized on purpose.
