Perfect little clip. Simple and classy. It shipped in a presentation box, but I had to set the box up myself, it was just in a small ziplock back under the presentation portion of the box. Not a big deal, just a bit odd.

This is a gorgeous cross tie clip. It would be a great gift! It comes well packaged and is very attractive. It grips ties well to keep them in place making it a functional gift. It is durable and made of heavy gold tone metal. It is embellished with a black cross that stands out well. It is an excellent value for the money. This is a unique well priced gift!

This tie clip is not a cheap flimsy material that you often see in the less expensive clips. Here are my thoughts on this clip:PROS:1) Nice size. This looks like a normal size tie clip. I've purchased some where you get them and you go, "really? This is too small for a child's tie!" This one is the correct size.2) It clips and holds the tie in place without damaging your tie. It is spring loaded clip style that typically works really well. This one does work well.3) A good weight. This looks and feels like a quality tie clip. The material weight is good so the clip is not flimsy.CONS:1) I have not found a con.CONCLUSION:This is a great tie clip for the money. It is constructed well, serves it functional purpose, and looks great.RATING SYSTEM:I review a lot of products because I know reading other people’s reviews are very helpful in selecting the right product. I saw a reviewer that gave a rating scale and I thought, "that is useful". When one is reviewing from underwear to air compressors having a way to tell you why I rate is important.Here is my rating scale:5 Stars: Excellent product, I highly recommend this product for anyone.4 Stars: Good product, but there are some quality, functionality, or design issues, but will still work well.3 Stars: Okay product, it will work for some people but not all people. It works but not great.2 Stars: Is not very functional. It might work in a very specialized situation, but don't count on it.1 Star: Trash. I can't see any useful purpose for the product.

I don't have much (any) experience with buying or using a tie clip, but I ordered this to gift my son as part of his graduation gift. He likes to dress up nice for special events and has never had a tie clip before. This one looks very nice, in my opinion. The metal is smooth and shiny, there are no rough, sharp, or jagged bits. The clip works much like a salon hair clip and seems to hold onto fabric very well. The cross design is just the right size to be visible without being too much and it looks very sharp. This tie clip looks much more expensive than it is, indy opinion, and makes a very nice gift. It also comes in a very nice black jewelry box lined with fabric for gifting. 100% would recommend.
