I am stunned by the quality of this necklace for the price. It really has such a nice shine to it. My son was very happy when he opened it and put it on immediately. The rope chain is sturdy, and the clasp is as well. The cross is lightweight, so the necklace isn't heavy on your neck. This is such a nice men's necklace! Great gift for a teen or adult. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

In a word: meh. As I write this, all other reviews are 5*- I'm perplexed. As I said, maybe I'm just picky, but this looks and feels very cheap, the clasp is really cheap and unlikely to endure and, for me the worst part is the chain itself, which is that weir cheap type that is kinda kinked and, as a result, doesn't actually lay flat at all. You can see that in one of the other reviews where someone is wearing it and it doesn't lay proper and doesn't look right. They, however, liked it- go figure.For me- well, call me skeptical on ANY silver, much less 92.5%, lol (hint: silver is at $48/ounce rn).It's not terrible, but the way the chain lays makes it something I will likely not wear much- probably wear it when I wouldn't want to wear something nicer and wouldn't be disappointed if it got ruined.

This item was a gift for my grandson, I must say for the price I was very pleased, the necklace and charm look very nice, the weight doesn't make it feel cheap, and i have plans to buy another.

This sterling silver cross necklace looks very expensive. My son wears a few different chains (a.k.a. baseball “drip”) and this is his new favorite. It is super shiny and for the money you can’t go wrong. He is 16 and about 5’4” 115 lbs and the length was perfect for him. It would be a little small for me as a grown adult male (18” chain). I can’t say enough about how expensive this chain looks. It is stamped with the word, “Italy” and “925” for Sterling silver.Updated: after only wearing a few weeks, the bail that holds the pendant on the chain has failed. It could be fixed but the cost to repair is more than the cost of the whole necklace.

Purchased this necklace for my 22-year old son for Christmas and after just 2 days of wearing it, it broke by the clasp. Very disappointed that the necklace cost $35-40 and it would not last longer than that!

Absolutely lovely chain and cross necklace. The design is subtle, and the plating gleams in any light. I prefer a plain cross to one with jewels, and this design is as plain as you can get, but the effect is excellent. The chain itself is long enough to go over my head without opening; at my age, and eyesight, that is a big advantage. However, if you do use the clasp, it is the familiar "lobster claw" design, which ensures that the chain will not come undone unexpectedly.I think this is a beautiful necklace for anyone; but the simplicity of design makes it especially nice for men, although I have no problems wearing it myself. This is also perfect for active younger men in their teens, as the price is extremely reasonable, and, in the event of an accident, can be readily replaced without undue expenditure.But whoever is going to be the final wearer, I think they will be very pleased with design and execution.
