This set is packed with some of the best products Dermalogica offers, but given the high price point, I wouldn’t buy it unless you’re certain you’ll use every single product included. If you’re not familiar with every product, I’d recommend the less expensive travel sets to find out what works for you before jumping in with this comprehensive set.That said, the heroes of this set, for me, are the daily microfoliant and the dynamic recovery SPF. The microfoliant is gentle and highly effective at smoothing skin texture, though I wouldn’t recommend exfoliating every day even with a gentle product. The SPF is truly one of the best products this brand makes — on addition to smelling delightful, this lightweight cream absorbs quickly and immediately leaves my skin plumper and glowing. It makes the perfect first layer to go beneath my makeup.

I love Dermalogica, and this set is a wonderful addition to my skincare routine; it is beautifully presented and a great way to try new products whether you've tried the line before or are brand new to it. The routine in this set, in my opinion, would work best for normal to dry skin and for those concerned with the beginnings of signs of aging.I'm familiar with and use the retinol, and it has a nice texture and gentle formula that doesn't dry out my skin. I do have experience using stronger and even prescription retinoids, but I keep going back to this one, especially for my neck and chest. The microfoliant powder and glycolic cleanser can be used together (and the kit includes and instruction sheet) for a complete chemical and physical exfoliation treatment, or each can be used alone. I love the microfoliant and find it one of the gentlest physical exfoliants I've ever used while still being effective. The pro-collagen serum and phyto nature eye cream are new to me. I love that the pro-collagen serum is designed to encourage skin's own collagen, rather than just being a coating of collagen that skin cannot absorb and therefore is only useful as an occlusive. It has a texture that is more lightweight than straight collagen creams, and doesn't feel filmy or slimy to me. The eye cream is a treat, with a lightweight and quick-to-absorb texture. It is the only product in this kit with any kind of scent, but it is from plant extracts in the formula rather than an added fragrance (as far as I know, no Dermalogica products contain added perfumes). It works well even under concealer, no pilling and no greasiness. The SPF is good for me for non-makeup times; I say this because I'm really picky about SPF texture under makeup and have a very short list of ones that work for me if I'm putting anything else on my face. That said, it has a bit of a cult following and a lot of people love it as a daily SPF.The headband is cute and very useful (especially since I have short-short bangs!) and the brush and gua sha are high-quality. The gua sha is metal, not plastic, and has a good weight to it, which makes it really good at what it's supposed to do. It feels even better after being in my skincare fridge.This kit comes in a beautiful metal box and would be a great gift for someone who loves Dermalogica and/or loves skincare and wants a comprehensive, yet simple routine for smooth, bright skin.

I ordered this expert level skin care routine whole kit, Your Moment of Expertise by Dermalogica. I have used many different dermalogica products over the years and always was very pleased with them. I never had a full set and skin care product experience before and my face is feeling really spoiled. This is THE perfect time of year to receive a set like this. Winter time, I notice, is very harsh on my face and skin with more time spent indoors.Inside are 6 products, a headband, fan brush and Steel Gua Sha.1) I wash with the Daily Glycolic Cleanser on my face and neck, rinse off thoroughly.2) Then I put a little Daily Microfoliant into the palm of a wet hand and with my other hand I gently mix to a cream and work it into face and neck, then rinse3)Then I take a little bit if the Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream and tenderly apply under and above around my eyes.4) next I apply a Couple pumps of Pro-Collagen Banking Serum and apply all over.5)Then time for Sunscreen, the Skin Recovery SPF50 gets applied thoroughly.In the evenings:1) I wash with the Daily Glycolic Cleanser on my face and neck, rinse off thoroughly.2) I apply a bit of the Dynamic Skin Retinol Serum and gently put it all on my face and neck.3) Then I take a little bit if the Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream and tenderly apply under and above around my eyes.4) Add a Couple pumps of Pro-Collagen Banking Serum and apply all over.What a GLORIOUS Skincare Kit, your skin will Love this
