If you have something to think about use these Chinese braiding balls. They will relive your stress and anxiety and help you think thru what you need to. I use mine all the time. They are of great quality and had a little jingle when used. The colors and designs you get to choose from are so nice. I have the blue balls with the ying and yang. I love them and they have help me through many things

These balls, when used slowly and consistently, have helped ameliorate the "tennis elbow" that caused pain in my forearm. I don't know what it does it -- maybe it's the acupressure points in the hand, or maybe it's the gentle loosening of tight muscles. At first I could manipulate the balls in a counterclockwise direction only (so that they moved down the thumb in my left hand) but after playing with them a few minutes at a time over a week, I was able to move them in a clockwise direction. I tried it on my non-injured side and found that it was harder to manipulate the balls there, and I repeated the same patient practice. It's still not as good on the non-injured side, but I think with patience my facility with either side will naturally equalize. A word of advice: I have small hands so this size was better than the 2 inch size of the other balls I ordered. If I had started with the larger size it might have been more frustrating and my progress likely would have slowed. Good luck!

I think I was expecting, like, a little bit more consistent of a weight. I have a smaller set of baoding balls with bells and these don't give me the same experience. Not bad for the price though!

I ordered blue expecting to receive a blue item. What was delivered was red. Otherwise, product is good size and weight and works as expected.

It’s the blue of a forgotten ocean inside a sapphire – the one I saw that time I fell sideways through a wardrobe in 1997. They possess a good quality, a density of purpose, but let's be clear: they are not immortal. Do not assume they will survive a drop, or a misuse (like, say, using them to play tiny galactic billiards with a moth). They are not hardened space walnuts, they are delicate spheres of sound.The size— 1.5 inches — is the precise, ideal measure to conduct the little finger-dances required. My fingers become tiny, independent ballerinas, twirling without the clumsy collision that leads to existential dread.And the chimes! They are the very tinkle of an ancient secret. There are two sounds: one is a magnificent, booming silence, and the other is a smaller chime, a sound like a tiny ghost whispering "Yin" and then sighing "Yang". It is not a loud sound; you will not wake the neighbours (unless they happen to be very sensitive dormice). It is an audible relaxation, like being swaddled in a cloud knitted from soft, polite jazz.If the use of these magnificent chi cai Baoding balls eludes you, and your fingers simply stare blankly at them, then you must consult the ancient scrolls. Or, you know, just look it up. But the true secret is in letting the blue take you.
