Looked very healthy, son did not like. Would’ve been better off making something at home because the convenience is what I bought it for and he didn’t even like it.

Good mild flavor and texture. Shelf stable. Easy to heat and serve. Not too shabby cold either. Serve as is, or pair with yogurt or another grain or legume. Or add it extra fruit if appropriate for toddler or yourself. Just a nice quick pretty healthy meal (or snack).I like it best heated up but it really tastes good cold or hot. As a meal, it is lightweight and easy on my stomach. I often dont really want any food in first half of day, but I keep quick bites around for times I want something but dont want a big meal or anything heavy. I dont always want a snack bar. I will often keep oatmeal on hand, and this falls in line with that. Just a little more sugar than I would normally want, and less fiber than what I think this should have, even for a toddler. But at least this option has 2 grams of fiber over some offerings where it is just 1 gram.So yeh, I always have a few baby or toddler foods in my pantry. Mostly for convenience and ease on my stomach. I can make the equivalent for a lot less $ per serving, but I like having the shelf stable options on hand for times I dont want to fuss. Works nice for tossing in my car bag, office drawer, etc.
