I grew up on Vy-eenie weenies, and just had to try the hot and spicy version. I always like the hot stuff, but this is a little different than I was expecting. It's the same little weenies, but packed in Louisiana hot sauce. It's not terribly hot, but they're covered in it and have been marinating in it. I rinse them off, but they still taste like that vinegar based sauce. It's a little overpowering on something that has little flavor to begin with. If you really like that Louisiana hot sauce, this might be right up your bayou.The price is right, the nutrition as bad as ever, and the convenience is what it's all about. Good with soda crackers, but next time I'm getting the regular weenies and I'll put sauce on them myself if I get bored with them.
