This oatmeal is not to my liking. For one, the oats are hard. I started off with boiling water. I added a little brown sugar because I like my oatmeal sweet. I then placed it in the microwave for two minutes to soften the oats. Well, then I put it back in because the oats did not soften the way I like. I then decided to try them anyway, even though the were still on hard side of things. It tasted like it was full of fiber, nutrients, and protein. But the oats did not taste tasty. I tried two packs over the last two months. I was supposed to give them to my mom when she came over, but I forgot. I will try to pass them on to the next person I can. These oats cannot leave my house fast enough.

Pretty decent oatmeal. All three flavors have a rich, earthy taste and texture and only take about a minute to prepare. The instructions say to add 1/3 cup water or milk and then microwave, but I found they're all much better with milk than water. They not only come out too watery otherwise (duh), but the milk actually rounds out the sweetness level, especially for the apple/cinnamon and brown sugar ones that aren't quite sweet enough unless you use milk and then are great (chocolate chip is plenty sweet either way). The serving sizes are fairly small, but that's probably normal for packet oatmeal.

Great for a leaking radiator! This stuff is so thick, you can plug a radiator with it! Works great for head lice too!

I suppose I could have done the sensible thing and bought the individual flavors before I bought the assortment, so the rating is partly on me. But not a fan of the chocolate chip oatmeal, which to me is more like a bad oatmeal cookie instead of breakfast. Other than that, Kodiak oatmeal is good. It's an UPF, which is not ideal, but the flavors are good, the ingredients are pretty healthy, there is protein for you gym rats out there, so all in all not bad.
