I recently tried the Home Techpro Rug Pads Grippers on a large area rug in my living room. Overall, they do their job—up to a point.👍 What I Loved:• Effectively prevents curling: The vacuum-tech material kept all four corners and edges lying flat, even in high-traffic areas.• Simple to install and reuse: You just peel them off, stick them on your rug, press to secure—even after washing, they held up reasonably well.• No residue: Clean removal with no sticky residue or damage to my hardwood floors.👎 What Fell Short:• Durability issues: After about 3 months of regular use, the adhesive started losing strength. Two corner grippers began peeling up, causing noticeable lifting at the edges.• Limited lifespan: While some products last a year or more, these didn’t hold up to the promises of long-term reliability.• Washing wear and tear: Though washable, after a few gentle hand-washes in warm water, the grip noticeably weakened—so it’s not as reusable as advertised.⸻🔍 Who It Works For:• People looking for short-term results, such as before events or when first laying down a rug.• Those who want an easy, residue-free solution without committing to permanent adhesives.🛠️ Tips for Longevity:1. These rug grippers are absolutely amazing! I needed something that would keep my rugs in place without sticking to my new LVP floors, and these are perfect. They work exactly as promised, my rugs stay put, even while vacuuming. I was able to easily cut them down for smaller rugs, which is a great money, saving bonus. I also love that I can lift the rugs to vacuum or mop underneath with no hassle. Best of all, there’s no sticky residue left on my floors. Highly recommended.

Door mat was a pain in the a..... Tried everything, ends curled, slides everywhere, catches on the door sweep. I was about to throw it away until I found these. For the $ I figured it was worth a try. Now I love that door mat.

These are pretty solid. I have removed them from our rug once while the rug was being washed, butthey did unexpectedly stick. I don't think they would stick after being removed again though (maybe once,but not twice.)They work quite well and are able to go the the edge of the rug. I had no issues with smell or feel.Very easy to attach, just briefly clean the part of the rug it will attach to and the part of the floor it will contact.I will say that if the rug is more than 4 feet, it is advisable to add grippers to the middle of the rug edge, in addition to the usual 4 corners.With 6 gripper on our large rug, our Roomba has no issue getting caught on the rug!Great quality! I was surprised they have lasted!

This rug pad gripper has been a lifesaver for our hardwood floors. With people stampeding through the house and pets adding their own brand of chaos (plus all the hair that comes with them), I needed something that would keep our rugs from sliding all over the place. This pad absolutely delivers. It stays put, keeps the rugs flat, and handles high-traffic areas better than others I’ve tried. Eventually I had to replace it because grime and everyday life worked its way in—but honestly, that’s just proof of how much action it saw.
