Very nice Strip Light

Originally bought these for christmas to go around our living room window. Was going to take them down but my 82 year old mother loves them so they will stay up all year round. She changes the color every evening. Works seamlessly with Echo show. Great product.

Sengled devices no longer work with Alexa and the skill has been removed. Downgrading to 1 star, wishing I could rate it 0 stars.----I have tried a number of LED strips and I bought this one to replace a dual T8 light I had mounted behind my QLED television; I like a light behind my television for glare-free ambient lighting; I've tried quite a few strips but kept going back to remounting the shop light, being disappointed with every light strip (either due to poor-quality light, or too dim).This light is EXCELLENT! It provides a good quality white, which regardless of tuning illuminates well without washing out or significantly shifting colors, despite having a CRI of only 80. This light delivers a very bright white, and the colors are well-saturated and brighter than is typical of RGBW lighting. It accomplishes its primary objective very well.The light may be used without a hub, although it will be confined to being controlled from a single device via the Sengled Bluetooth app. You won't get full functionality and participation in your Bluetooth mesh, nor will the strip serve as a mesh repeater without being added to Alexa via a hub.Installation can be tricky; it will flex along the length, but it does not flex well side to side nor can tricks like creating a loop at the end allow it to fold. I may experiment with trimming away some of the silicon to try to curve and fold the stripe like one would with cheaper strips that are unsealed ribbons, or thinner silicon strips, but this strip cannot be to form a 90 degree angle to the side. Also, if you cut the strip, the only way to re-use the cut sections is to cut the silicone back away from the PCB to solder on to the pads. That's pretty standard with these things. However I expect this LED strip to be very rugged.The adhesive could be stronger; that's always a weak point on LED strips. I'm probably going to resort to using RTV to improve adhesion to back of the television panel.I am VERY pleased with this LED strip and am considering ordering more to put on the back of our other televisions.

This review is for the Sengled 16.4ft Bluetooth LED Lights Work with Alexa Only, BLE Mesh Smart Light Strip. Over all I give this lighting kit a five star review. The love the adhesive function. These lights do adhere very well and so far have stayed put. They do come with clips though if you need to clip them in. The light is fantastic and they are bright. You have a blue tooth function with these that works well with my Alexa in my house. I do use Google so I can't say whether or not it works well with that system or not. I like using my phone to control this rather than having another remote to add to my house. These are 1800 lumen LED lights. I would recommend.

These were really easy to set up, and work great through the Sengled app or through Alexa. I love the color range, and the brightness control. The tape sticks well and stays in place.

I didn't pay attention when ordering Sengled 16.4ft Bluetooth LED Lights. Sengled lights are a brand we use with Google Home. They work via WiFi without a special hub. I like the brand so much I jumped on the chance to get the 16 foot rope of lights. Unfortunately, for voice activation, I need Alexa, not Google Home. I'm using the light strip plugged into a Google Home friendly smart socket to turn it on and off. To change colors, I use the app. The strip is great, as good as any of the other brands I have, and less expensive, so I'm rating it five stars.

The packaging for this item is very nice. I connected the pieces and plugged it into the wall. I then opened my Alexa app, clicked Sengled Lights, and had it working within seconds. It can be very bright or very dim, your choice! The strip itself is extremely fancy and looks nice on its own just sitting there. The adhesive works just fine and I have zero complaints about this item. It also has a controller / button in case you don't have Alexa-enabled devices. Very easy to use, very cool to have, and adds extra ambience to the room instantly. It has transformed my living space in an incredible way. I absolutely love it, and you will too!

OK, I like Sengled lights and have a wifi version of this same light strip and it puts out great color over a useful length strip. My other Sengled light strip attaches to a Sengled hub and is controllable via Google Home or Amazon's Alexa, but I'm not a fan of proprietary hubs. More and more they seem only a means of locking you into one light brand. So I was intrigued by these Sengled lights which are advertised both as working with Alexa and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) mesh capable.What I did not initially realize is that BLE mesh capability requires an Alexa device and is not available through the Sengled Bluetooth app. This means you MUST be on Amazon's Alexa system to use the full capabilities of this strip. I am not on Alexa. I'm a Google Home user, and though this strip will work OK for my purposes using the Sengled Bluetooth app, this strip's inability to use all its features except on an Alexa network, and flat out inability to work with Google Home needs to be noted as a serious negative.I don't think Sengled made this strip’s exclusive attachment to Alexa fully clear in the product information. And why it won't work with Google Home which also is Bluetooth capable is a mystery to me. But beware of this limitation if you are considering buying this light strip--which is, by the way, a very nice, very configurable, very bright strip.
