I bought this telescope as a kinda learner telescope and to gauge my kids level of engagement before buying a more expensive telescope. I was genuinely surprised by the overall quality and the inclusion of carrying bag that is compartmentalized to keep the scope and stand separate. We were able to see fine details of the moon and even(just barely) the rings around Saturn on a clear night. It really is something.

A decent telescope

The Pros: offers decent -quality optics that provide good views of planets. For a newbie it is a Good level value. Also has useful accessories included comes with a phone adapter, tripod, and finder scope . That helps if you want to capture photos or set it up easily. Assembling the telescope and the tripod is easy and quick. It is not an electronic device so setup is easy. Comes with a moon filter too and you the manual helps you if your are new to using a telescope.

So, I got this hoping it would be great for night sky viewing, and it almost delivered. I mean it's pretty decent and I am impressed, but I found it to have some solid pros, and could also use some improvements. Here's my opinion:What I like the most:- The optics are pretty crisp for the price bracket, and I was impressed to see lunar details and star clusters better than I expected.- It's not too heavy, in fact, it's light and compact. So, moving this around or taking during a trip is definitely manageable.- I like the accessories that came with it, especially the moon filter, and phone adapter. They are in case you need them without paying extra.- The tripod is made from aluminum and is adjustable, and it is stable enough as long as you're on a flat ground.What could be improved:- On uneven surfaces or when it's a little windy, it wobbles more than I'd like, and it's not really rigid.- The mount is basic, it might be great for beginners, but for intermediate to advanced users, it seems a little limiting.- Focus can be inconsistent sometimes, and to get a clear image, you'd need some patience.Overall, it's fun to use and is a pretty decent choice for beginners and those getting into astronomy. For the price, you get a decent set up, but you also trade off on solid rigidity and precision.

This telescope exceeded my expectations in both performance and practicality. The 90mm aperture delivers clear, bright views of the Moon, star clusters, the Andromeda Galaxy, and even Saturn’s rings on a good night. It’s incredibly portable, lightweight, and easy to set up, which means I actually take it with me instead of letting it collect dust. The included phone adapter and moon filter add real value, and the carry bag keeps everything organized and ready to go. It’s also very beginner- and kid-friendly, simple to assemble, easy to use, and sturdy enough for regular handling.The only area that could be improved is the tripod. While it works well on flat surfaces, a slightly sturdier design would make a noticeable difference when viewing on uneven ground or breezy nights. Aside from that, this telescope offers excellent value for the price and has become my go-to scope for quick trips and casual stargazing.

Portable and durable. I recently packed my scope into its carry bag and tossed it into the back of my Jeep to move from CT to FL. It is super portable and rapidly sets up and tears down for transport. It is very light and the construction is simple enough to keep it durable. Unlike some of my other scopes which are very heavy and barely portable. I intend to drag this one in the Jeep for use whenever I want to dig it out and observe some wildlife. Just the other day, I had a flock of parrots descend upon my bird feeder. I haven't been able to get close enough to get a good picture with my cell phone. The included adapter allowed me to get some great shots of the skittish birds on my first tries.Child friendly. This is a good scope to use with children. It is inexpensive enough to be disposable under the worst-case scenario. It is simple to set up and operate with enough quality to keep interest up, unlike scopes of lesser quality that are difficult and frustrating to use at best. The tripod quickly adjusts to child heights for easy viewing.The only negative I have found with this scope is the focus. The focuser is much better than other inexpensive scopes I have tried in the past. I would enjoy a fine adjustment for use when used as a spotting scope and photography. I find it difficult to get perfect focus sometimes using the course adjustment. Under most viewing conditions it was perfectly adequate.I recommend this scope as a good beginner scope for the price and believe it may soon replace some of my more expensive scopes in the same way my cell phone camera has replaced my SLR cameras. The one you have with you all the time tends to get the most use.

Great gift for anyone

The telescope works great overall — clear images, smooth adjustments, and easy to set up. I’ve really enjoyed using it so far. The only small thing I’d suggest is about the lens angle: it’s positioned at a full 90°, which sometimes makes it a bit tricky to look through comfortably. A slightly inclined or cross-angled design might be better for extended use.Also, the packaging felt a little overdone — the product was inside three different cardboard boxes. The main box with the brand name already provides good protection, so simplifying that would be nice.Aside from that, it’s an excellent product and well worth recommending.
