Nice and compact on my Fujifilm X-E5, but… It doesn't hold a charge for very long. A full charge will hold for perhaps 12 hours at best. Given that it takes 60-90 minutes to bring the unit to a full charge, you basically have to charge immediately before use. Dependent on output setting, you get relatively few flashes from a full charge. All in all, a bit of a disappointment.

Cracking little flash for the X-T5, just one battery concern

Bought this as a second flash to pair with my main unit on the Fujifilm X-T5, and it’s genuinely impressed me. The build quality feels solid for the money - proper metal hot shoe, well-made body, nothing feels cheap or flimsy. It’s compact enough to slip in a jacket pocket, which makes it brilliant for travel when you need fill light but don’t want to lug around a full-sized flash.The TTL works perfectly with the X-T5. No faffing about with manual settings unless you want to. Recycle times are quick, output is more than adequate for most situations, and the colour temperature matches well with my other flash. I’ve used it both on-camera and off-camera with a trigger, and it’s performed spot-on in both scenarios.Where GODOX has really got it right is the price point. You’re getting excellent performance without the professional price tag. The interface is straightforward, the controls are sensibly laid out, and it just works without any drama.The only reservation I have is the non-replaceable battery. It charges via USB-C which is convenient, and battery life has been good so far, but you’re stuffed if it eventually degrades. No swapping in fresh batteries. For the price I paid, I’m willing to take that gamble, but it’s worth knowing going in. If it lasts a few years of regular use, I’ll still consider it money well spent.Overall, really pleased with this purchase. Does everything I need it to do and hasn’t put a foot wrong yet. This is a great entry compact flash with TTL. Compared to the competition that Viltrox, Ulanzi and Flash point offer I think that this is a great choice. The other pro models have screens and more controls but this has all you need really. A manual mode and TTL adjustments through a simple + and - options. Some of the other options in this price range don't even have TTL which is almost a necessity for modern mirrorless cameras. I have this set up with my Nikon Z6 I and it works flawlessly. Truly a plug and play flash. It's so light that I don't notice it on my setup half the times.

mini flash molto utile in varie situazioni con le fotocamere sprovviste di flash incorporato. Unico neo, prevedibile, ho un formato 4/3 e alle focali da 12 a 24 mm (equivalente FF 24/48) proietta l'ombra dell'obiettivo. Si risolve con Godo Hot shoe riser.

I was excited to check out the iT20 S (Sony) when it arrived today. I took photos of my dog in both TTL & Manual with my 35mm on my Sony a7R V. The flash works fantastically! When I received it the flash was 3/4 charged. I topped off the internal battery with the provided USB-C cable, and within less than 15 minutes, it was fully charged. I took back-to-back photos (32) with normal recomposition time varying between 1-8 seconds, and the flash never missed firing, not once. One thing to be aware of is that with my 35mm lens and the lens hood in use, it blocks some of the flash (as seen in the first photo). This is due to the iT20 sitting low in the hot shoe. That said, there is a solution for this as Godox has released the Godox TR TTL Hot Shoe Riser Hot Shoe Extender, which I've not yet tried, but the advertising suggests that it supports both the iT20 & the iT30Pro.This flash is the baby brother to the iT30 Pro, which offers more features, at double the price, including remote control for off-camera shooting, HSS, a larger battery, and additional power levels.However, the little iT20 is a fun, no-frills (TTL or Manual) flash, priced right, and capable of delivering an excellent performance. If you're just getting into on-camera flash, this is a very affordable and easy-to-use flash to get some experience.I'm looking forward to using the iT20 for candid shots, such as at receptions, events, and just around the house.

Wow. I was looking for a light weight flash for my Nikon Z 50 II and saw this so I took a chance. What a nice surprise. It’s a great fill flash that’s so easy to use and I love how light it is. Gonna have to buy a 2nd one. So far loving this flash.
