True to size, my son wears a size 10 - Kids and these fit him perfectly. The laces are stretchy and NO TIE which is great for a toddler, and the velcro strap stays put. He loves the colors- picked them out himself and has never complained about them being uncomfortable. He wears them to pre-school 4 days a week, and loves them for weekend outings too, they are extremely durable and have held up well since we got them!
