This was the perfect touch to go with the tie I got my dad for my wedding a couple weeks ago. Very classy, great price, and goes great with a good variety of colors. Can be more casual (we didn't do full suits, just short sleeve shirts and dress pants because it was an outdoor wedding... and it was 90+ deg outside!!) or more dressy with vests or suit coats.

- this is a great looking tie clip, it has a nice pattern to it.- really like that it holds down the tie well and doesn't start sliding off like other tie clips without damaging or digging in to the tie or shirt.- price wise I think it was a good buy, in past experience the less you pay the less quality you get. But not the case with this tie clip.- the only thing I can see someone not liking about it is you can see where the pattern ends and starts again. However if you know about abalone shells you know a long stretch like that isn't possible in one piece.
