This tie clip manages to be both simple and pretty at the same time. I like the fact that it looks like the quill is dipped in ink and ready to write.I do not like the fact that if you squeeze a bit too hard against the spring to open it, the whole backing bends. I've had to reshape it slightly two different times. I am not looking forward to the metal failing at the fatigue points.
