My son doesn't wear it in the water, but if he did it probably would not be holding up as well as it is. Good clasp quality. Great for a child that you don't trust with real gold yet.

I ordered it for my son. He wanted a cross to wear. It has great shine! The weight is great for a 9 year. Awesome for the money. But it broke within a week. I was able to fix myself. He still loves and that is all that matters.
